The new $9.5 million 26,000 square ft. Drake Community Library opened in November 2009, located at Park Street and Fifth Avenue, adjacent to the historic downtown business district and Grinnell College. Total dollars were raised through a unique funding partnership between private donors, businesses, foundations, corporations, civic groups, the City of Grinnell and Vision Iowa.
